From 24 to 29 October, Angers, a city in the Pays de la Loire, will be the world capital of the electronics industry during its hosting of the 22nd World Electronics Forum. This will provide a unique opportunity to shine a spotlight on this dynamic metropolis -France’s leading city in the Internet of Things.
Last May, Angers signed an extraordinary partnership with Google during an evening event entitled “Connectez-vous au futur” (Connect to the Future). In the Pays de la Loire, Angers, which boasts a wide and varied digital ecosystem, is one of the French cities that has been awarded the French Tech label in recognition of its IoT (Internet of Things) thematic network. This expertise will be taking front stage during the “Connected week”, in particular through the World Electronics Forum (WEF), an international event that will take place in Angers from 24 to 29 October.

The following day, conference participants will also be able to discover the region’s strengths through a range of learning expeditions and workshops. The WEF delegation will be introduced to the wealth of digital opportunities in the Angers region in terms of tomorrow’s use of smart technology through seven visits: Smart Agri, Smart Health, Smart Wear, Smart Security, Smart Mobility, Smart Energy and Smart Home.
