A world-renowned race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans attracts visitors from the four corners of the globe. At the last race, an Invest in Western France event was organised by the Pays de la Loire region and its partners, including Nantes – Saint-Nazaire Port, in order to promote the assets of Pays de la Loire.
On the 16th of June, the Regional Agency Pays de la Loire Territoires d’Innovation held an “Invest in Western France” conference. The event was designed in partnership with ID4Car, EMC2, the Institut Automobile du Mans and Nantes – Saint-Nazaire Port, which was involved for the first time (see insert). Aim: to present the region’s assets in terms of innovation and the automotive industry to domestic and foreign investors.
Participants (French and foreign companies in the automotive sector, partners) had the opportunity to make many new contacts during the networking session. It was a highly successful experience and the event will be held again next year, undoubtedly with a new format.
