For the next school year, a new one is set to open its doors in Pays de la Loire. Teaching will be bilingual (French-English) with a special emphasis on quality: the International School of Nantes will award Cambridge diplomas. The school will welcome children from the crèche up to the end of primary school.

50% of the classes will be given in French and 50% in English. The International School of Nantes will benefit from a team of multicultural teachers able to provide a bilingual education for children from three months to eleven years old. The aim is to develop the open-mindedness of pupils and prepare them to “become citizens of the world“.

This new private school will welcome its first students at the beginning of the next school year. The courses will be designed to follow school curricula on both sides of the Atlantic, but also integrate additional subjects such as philosophy. It is a perfect complement the teaching offer in Nantes, where the Nelson Mandela International Secondary School opened in 2014.

Cambridge Diplomas

The International School of Nantes is also a Cambridge Examination Centre. Each year, students will have the opportunity to earn diplomas from the famous British school of globally recognised excellence.

The extracurricular happy club

In order to develop good habits outside of school hours, students can also register for the Happy Club, a bilingual activity centre open on Wednesdays and for some of the school holidays. It is the perfect opportunity to explore the richness of the two cultures through various activities: cooking, theatre, music, fancy dress parties and much more.
