From the 11 to 13 May 2016, Atlanpole will play host to three international innovation events. Three distinct networks will rally around a single central theme: “The future is international,” and share some common program elements between them.

The primary purpose of Nantes-Atlantique’s Atlanpole is to orchestrate the local innovation ecostructure. Openness to the international networks plays a key role, and this May the Pays de la Loire plays host to three related events in the Cité Nantes Events Center.

From the 11 to 13 May, under the banner “INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION CONNECTION in Nantes”, Atlanpole will welcome Retis, the French network of technological clusters, business incubators, and European enterprise centers; the IASP, the International Association of Science Parks’ assembly; and the General Assembly of the CEBR (the Council of European BioRegions).

The future is international

Each event has its own program, but some cross-cutting events will facilitate networking among participants from the three events, and although separate, each event shares a common theme: that “the future is international”.

Atlanpole also anticipates that the event will provide an opportunity for local innovators to raise their profile. Creative business district Quartier de la Création, as well as Nantes Tech, Atlanpole Biotherapies, and Technocampus have all begun to penetrate international markets. More than 200 international visitors are expected to attend the events.
